The only problem with damages during the moving process is the difference between a company that will step forward and solve the problem immediately as to the companies that will continue to deny or procrastinate until you eventually go away.

Every moving company has damage. Don't be deceived by a company that says that they do not do damage or have not had any damages. This is an impossibility considering movers are human and not robots.
Moving companies have the right to repair, replace, or provide the depreciated value for any damaged item.
Most items can be repaired. Even a chip in glass on the edge or surface can be ground down.
We have a $500 deductible that we pay our insurance company for damages over a $1000.00. This comes out of the movers pay which makes them more attentive to what they are moving and how they are moving it.
Most professional movers have the knowledge and materials to do simple repairs such as a drywall gouge.
Pressboard furniture that you assemble in your home is never covered by movers.
Customer packed boxes are never covered by the mover.
Pack your boxes to the top for stacking without crush.
We inspect everything before we move it to notify the client of previous damage. This is extremely helpful when we pick up your appliances or furniture from a store that you just made a purchase at.
We use professional equipment, moving blankets, boxes, shrink wrap, tape, floor coverings, etc. to insure for a good move.
We are fast and efficient but we do not run with a clients items when requested, usually to save on their bill when paying hourly, to keep from injury or damage to household or office goods.
We will load your personal vehicle for you, if requested, to limit damages from improper loading by the client.
We know how to move in all weather conditions without subjecting your items to the elements.
Inspect your items BEFORE the movers leave.
We have the best upholsters, cleaners, handymen, refinishers, and glass repair companies, in the area, at our disposal. Insurance companies will not accept a claim if the move is not paid in full confirmi9ng completion. They do not negotiate non-payment with damage claim value.
We do not turn on your appliances, computers, tv's, radios, and musical instruments before we move them to see if they are working properly. Movers are not responsible for the internal working of these items. We are unaware.
In most cases, once a damage is reported, a repair will be completed within 2-4 weeks depending on contractors availability. They will set an appointment with you.
