The question you ask is a profound one. I've spent considerable time engaging with the Father in prayer and simply listening. Through this process, a realization has emerged. It connects back to a fundamental question I posed: Is God all-powerful?
To consider if something is perfect, we must acknowledge that there is no such thing as almost perfect. Similarly, the concept of being all-powerful does not allow for any exceptions. If God is indeed all-powerful and omniscient, it means He knows everything and holds all power in His hands. He created everything, and there is nothing that exists outside of Him. He is capable of doing whatever He pleases.
However, being able to do everything and being willing to do everything are different matters. Saying that God can't and God won't are fundamentally distinct. Let's visualize the creator of the universe for a moment. Imagine looking down onto the universe with the Father, observing billions and trillions of galaxies. The sheer scale of His creation is overwhelming.
Some might refer to this vastness and everything within it as Christ Consciousness. Regardless, let's focus on the awe-inspiring reality that this universe is teeming with trillions of galaxies. Zooming into just one galaxy, we see hundreds of billions of stars. This alone is stunning, showcasing the incredible power of our God, who has created such a vast expanse.
Within this single galaxy, with its billions of stars, lies our solar system. It's intricately designed, each planet revolving around the sun in perfect balance. This intricate system further points to an all-powerful creator. Zooming in further to Earth, we observe the delicate ecosystems sustaining trillions of life forms. Father seems to enjoy dealing in trillions within this universe.
Consider the billions of people on Earth. Science has yet to fully comprehend the complexity of our bodies, each made up of trillions of cells. This complexity reflects the profound knowledge of our God. He has been with us since creation, understanding every psychological nuance of our being. With such wisdom and power, if God desires something, He will achieve it.
His desire is for all men to be saved. He is not content with just 99; He goes back for the one. Multiple scriptures affirm that God, through Christ, is redeeming and restoring all. Despite attempts to reinterpret "all" to mean something less, the sensible conclusion is that it indeed means all.
If God is all-knowing, do we believe any of His creation could successfully argue against Him? This idea seems absurd. Recognizing that we are eternal beings, if God's intention is to maintain love throughout eternity, choice must exist. What purpose would eternal condemnation serve for a loving God? Embracing the understanding that God is all-powerful and that God is love changes our perspective.
Reading scripture through this paradigm reveals different interpretations of Greek and Hebrew texts. Translators, influenced by fear-based gospels, may interpret texts to fit their paradigms. Historically, fear and manipulation have been used to control interpretations, such as during Constantine's era or the papacy's rule. However, a paradigm shift recognizing God's goodness, love, and power reveals His intent to restore all.
Can any created being outwit or outlove God? Is He not smart and loving enough to reason with His creation and win them over? The notion that anyone could resist His love throughout eternity contradicts the idea of an all-powerful God. Choice remains intact, but ultimately, God's love prevails.
Old paradigms of a fear-based gospel must be replaced with the understanding that God is all-powerful and all-loving. This new lens reveals that His intention is to restore everything. With this belief, our approach to life and love transforms. We no longer condemn others based on self-righteous thinking but embrace God's heart, which is full of love and redemption.
Your question required a comprehensive answer. I've dedicated an entire book to the topic of choice, empowering many to find the true purpose of our existence: to learn to love. This is the journey I'm on, and I welcome anyone who wishes to join me. Blessings to you.
